RAIF -- this is a linux kernel mailing list thread which informs/discusses RAID - radeundant array of independent filesystems. A stackable file system which is based on top of traditional filesystems (from ext3 to nfs) to provide redundant storage and nice semantics to define how storage of files should be organized.
